Jade Parry - Head of Care

With over 20 years of experience in the care industry, Jade has dedicated her career to improving the lives of young people and supporting the teams who work tirelessly to make a difference.

Starting out as a Residential Support Worker, Jade quickly demonstrated a passion for care, leadership, and personal development. Over the years, this dedication led to a series of well-earned promotions, culminating in the role of Registered Manager, where she proudly achieved an Ofsted rating of Outstanding (repeatedly) a reflection of exceptional standards, commitment, and care quality.

For the past eight years, Jade has been an integral part of Footsteps, serving as Head of Care. In this role, she continues to inspire and guide staff teams, ensuring that every young person receives the highest quality of support and opportunities to thrive.

"I love my job and being able to support our teams, knowing that together we can make a real difference in the lives of young people. Watching them grow, succeed, and find happiness is what makes everything worthwhile."

Outside of work, Jade brings the same passion and drive to personal goals. A keen runner and endurance enthusiast, she completed the Manchester Half Marathon in 2024, has signed up for her first full marathon in 2026, and has recently taken on the exciting challenge of triathlons.

Her dedication, both professionally and personally, embodies the spirit of perseverance, compassion, and continuous growth that defines Footsteps.

"The best way to inspire others is to keep challenging yourself — because growth happens just outside your comfort zone."

Charlotte Hutchings- Operations Manager

With over 12 years of experience in the Care industry, Charlotte has built a career dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and the teams who support them.

Beginning as a Residential Support Worker, Charlotte learned early on that the greatest impact comes not from what we say or do, but from how we make others feel, a belief that continues to guide her approach to leadership and care.

In her previous role, Charlotte helped open several homes alongside the Director, gaining a deep appreciation for how values-led leadership can inspire growth and positive change. Grateful for the opportunities she was given by those who believed in her, she now invests the same belief in both young people and staff, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals.

She holds a Level 2 qualification in Counselling, a Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce, and a degree in Psychology, combining professional expertise with genuine empathy.

"What I love most about Footsteps is that it's a small company with a big heart. It is a place where everyone feels they belong. It allows me to stay true to my values while being part of something truly meaningful."

Outside of work, Charlotte loves anything that keeps her creative or active, from sewing and yoga to snowboarding and climbing. Each one gives her a sense of balance and challenge and reminds her that growth happens even when we fall.
